What a find!! Best dinner of our absolutely wonderful week in Fairbanks! I had the Cuban pork dinner and my friend had the salmon dinner -- we cleaned our plates!!! And Chef Rico entertained us with conversation, too, as the place was empty on this cold Monday evening. It should be packed any time it's open!! But I never thought to ask until we were back home in North Carolina, How did you end up in Fairbanks, AK, Chef Rico?! Perhaps I will remember to ask him when I return with more friends in March!
My boyfriend and I drove up from anchorage for a little birthday trip and chose this place based on the rave reviews. Walked into a very warm, inviting, and intimate atmosphere. Rico and the other gentleman, whose name I didn’t catch, were incredibly friendly and helpful. They even lit a little candle for our table. The food was AMAZING! Perfect portions and delicious! Sadly we won’t be here for the live music on the weekend but we will 1000% be back! Thank you guys so much!
